Dating Game - Erik Schubach Contrary to most of the opinions expressed here I was unimpressed with this book, finding the characters shallow and unreal. Real getting-to-know-you conversations are described in the story as just that, conversations. What the reader actually receives is many exclamation points, nicknames and predictability. The description of the main characters almost seemed to be how a young teen would imagine her twenties.

The narrator changes her sexuality as if she were changing her blouse and everything is possible because she is a successful PR event organizer with a lot of markers/favors to cash in. People in these kinds of stories fall "in love" at the first kiss, date or meeting, and then a ridiculous lack of communication causes the main trauma of the story, and one character has to "pull out all the stops" to show just how string her love is. This was not for me.
